MAMTA - Health Institute for Mother and Child (www.mamta-himc.org) is a non- governmental organization, established in year 1990 and registered under Societies Registration Act- 1860 of Government of India. In a span of two and half decades, MAMTA has been able to establish itself in program implementation, program management, training, research and advocacy at National and International Level.
Today, MAMTA mobilizes community, strengthens health systems, networks and conducts policy level advocacy in close partnership with the government, public health systems, civil societies, academic institutions, corporate sector and community at large. MAMTA is working in 18 states of India and also expanded its reach in South and South East Asia region as a technical support organization in addressing health and development issues.
The organization expanded geographically across 218 districts of India with six state offices including Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh.
